  1. After watching this show, i can tell you that this is one of the greatest LOVE story ever… when you really think about it…. everything is sum up to this one question…. DO YOU LOVE HER? and rooted from that question followed everything that occurred in this movie… BRILLIANT.. this is bigger than a drama, thriller.. it is undoubtedly and cleverly a TRUE LOVE STORY. Love it!!!

  2. Just watched the whole thing in one day. Pretty intense.

It's fairly easy to suspend your disbelief for the improbability of what happened in court. But although the plot twist near the end didn't make Hero more 'heroic'. Then again, it made the title more apt because it turns out you didn't really know any of the key characters.

I'm not sure where you would go with a second series but hopefully Imran Mahmood's other books are as good and get made into series.

  3. cringe worthy. the narration in court is rubbish. who sits in court and listen endlessly to "story of my life"… judges be like: "get to the f-ckin point.." As a black person, this was really difficult to watch. Take away the endless, pointless court narration its a fine script.

  4. Great show. Very intense. I guess the ending was about him accepting the outcome going either way. Won't say anymore to spoil it. The main actor Samuel was such a good actor. I hope to see him again.

  5. A bit far-fetched but sometimes that's what makes a story more entertaining and I enjoyed it. Well done BBC!
…..As for all the comments on here about diversity & representation, well I'm white & most of the time the colour of the characters' skin didn't even enter my consciousness. I was too busy being involved & wrapped up in the plot!
