  1. they went over the moat with bare feet, where did they get the shoes???
very poor movie, I never think of it made in the west country, waste of money, Germen soldiers shot in the room without any trace of flee when being shot, sucks

  2. Grandmother of my hubby was an amateur actress. According to my hubby she must have given a professional performance. She was interrogated by the German police. At the end the German gave her a handkerchief to wipe the tears from her face. Her answer upon seeing the photograph of my father in law. "It means oh my God, it means they killed him!"

  3. This movie has been on my you tube feed for weeks, a couple times was just going to click it, not interested. All because of the thumb nail, just did not look all that interesting. got to get something that more closely reflects the actual movie. Nearly missed this one. Really good movie!!!

  4. Oh dear, it was going well up to the very end despite featuring the only Frenchwoman who shaved her armpits in the 1940s. D-D was delayed at the 11th hour because of the weather. The bit about it being the fifth of June was a farce, if the SOE agent had known the date for the landings, which is very unlikely, on the fifth of June he would have already expected the invasion to have been under way. The details matter.

  5. As a Combat Veteran of Call of Duty my Achieved Tactical Status is a Testament to All that have “Gone to War” and didn’t come Home. This Tribute Attests to All those that Paved the Way for the Online Experience. Having been shot at in multiplayer matches I can attest to the realism of Laying One’s Life down for his Country.

  6. How dare the UK and the US traitor call themselves liberators. The UK and the US ruined Greece and Europe after WW2.

The fake Jew-Nazi hunters never went to America to capture the worst Nazis who were rescued by the British & Americans

dirty collaborators. Never let the British & Americans control the narrative of history, especially when it comes to World War II.

  7. My ? Is why would the allies ask sending a SOE agent to France knowing he knew of such secret about D-Day than restricting agents from possible being caught by the Germans ? I would have restricted everybody from going into France or any German occupied area to make sure no one could ever have a chance of finding out about D-Day ?

  8. Our dear old neighbour, was born in 1927, moved from Brittany to Paris as a very young girl, by the time of the German occupation she was 15 years old. Her elder sister and her escorted downed air men from both the RAF and USAF out of Paris as far as the Pyrenees, they did 6 trips. Its only my interest in the resistance that she told me the stories. Two young girls , in their teens, they sought no reward or recognition, they did it for the love of their country and for those fighting for them. She's also one of the nicest, quietest and unassuming person l know, and to me, the bravest person I've ever met, or ever will.
