  4. It's as if all us are victims of big pharm. Whether on pain meds, SSRI, thinners, whatever it is were stuck. It's either we get off have withdrawals or stay on

  7. I was given OxyContin after hernia surgery. On the fourth day the nurse called and told me to stop taking it and go to Advil. Iā€™d like to see this series but I donā€™t have HULU.

  10. They needed to make this but there's sadly so many people I've lost in my life from them people I'll always miss from directly being on oxycotton or what came later it sickens me. Honestly for me none died while on it was them pulling an entire generation of highly addicted people off and then saying figure it out. They all ended up on street drugs aka heroin which then became fentanyl and that's as I've said before the end of this evil tale they don't even know how to combat the fentanyl epidemic right now the drug binds to the receptors so strongly that bupes are all but almost completely useless might as well pray you can cold turkey without having seizures cuz even if you wait days and take bupes without the blocker you can already be puking from the front and back and think your at the worst and it'll make you even sicker really is an insane drug doctors don't know wtf to do and nobody wants to talk about it. The clinics have spoken about maybe starting morphine to combat cuz even the methadone being as strong as it is to a heavy addict of fentanyl isn't being able to do much people are getting sick still on a dose of 120 mg of methadone which takes weeks if not a month or more to get up that high in a program so people have to keep using when they get in a program cuz of the potency of the fent and they can't start doing the morphine be like admitting there's a problem that there 2 cures for this disease can't combat. Well sorry it's not working I've seen it first hand car fentanyl is 100x strong than fentanyl and fentanyl is 50 to 100x stronger than heroin. It's time to really start using common sense stop dodging the issue and instead of just saying screw these people the sad fraction that hasn't already been left by the wayside maybe say hey this is a problem we th government of the united states' let infest our people like the plague maybe it's time to take some accountability and start using controlled stronger non synthetics to get these people off synthetics that will drop an elephant. Like using plant based opiates like real morphine or shit maybe even real heroin that's controlled in an controlled environment cuz these people left on this fentanyl it's not that alot of them don't want to stop there literally getting so sick trying to stop it's killing them. That whole opiates won't give you seizures is bill maybe opiates but now these people are on tranqz,fent,benzos and whatever other crap jo smo wants to throw in to stretch his product the system isn't working.. but I really think there just waiting till that entire generation kills themselves off. I hate the sackler family btw an entire family of people who killed millions for $$$ and didn't serve a day paying Penny's on the dollar they made family of Hitler's in my opinion. First bottles of oxycotton literally said not addictive on them I remember reading that at 17 while my mother was in a different planet vacuuming the entire house at 2 am. The addiction spread through my house like a plague as well. Her doctor got hooked on them and when she went back for a refill her receptionist had to tell her he blew his head off I could write a book. Can't make this stuff up.

  13. I've never had Oxy but I've taken other medications like morphine when I was in the hospital.. but the doctors were very careful.. I was in a lot of pain and first it was be through the IV then they moved me to pills but wouldn't let me leave the hospital until I was completely off the morphine (when I can go all night without asking for any). I live in Canada, but I feel we need more doctors who aurally care about ppl getting addicted.. my family doctor doesn't like to prescribe me T3s because of their addiction.. my old one would prescribe me them whoever I asked and I've literally been taking them for years.. but im not asking for a refill every week so clearly I only take them as needed and not addicted..yet she will only give them if she knows I'm in pain. I used to take them for headaches but she said she'd prefer me taking migrain pills.. problem with that is you only get 6 pills in a box and I have chronic headaches that can last for days.

  15. It all started for me when I was 16 – FIFTEEN years ago, when my girlfriends mom broke us up. I was moping at my friends house. And my friend Jim offered me a bump of an 80. I couldnā€™t believe how amazing I felt. I would kill to be as functional and happy as I was that day for the rest of my life.

    Itā€™s a sin that I was born with not having that feeling normally that kind of normalcy and personal power.

    It was never the high man. I just want to god damn love/love and I feel like Iā€™ve never been able to.

  17. Someone I know passed twenty years ago and this DRUG (OXYCONTIN) was ONE of the pain pills prescribed. Ik it wasn't as lethal or addictive THEN as it is NOW. IK

  19. Ruined my life fr age 14 to 29 I'm 6 months clean on methadone cuse my brain is fried from all the meds and ketamine I was givin for my back disease. We don't wanna be addicted a hole he said that we want to be sober it ruined our way of thinking and functioning. I'm a ship fitter and construction worker helping build oil platforms large ships refineries and plants for chemicals and plastics and paints in fab shops and all my body is tired at age 29 and I have a problem and ruined from this drug from age 18 till 28 on opiates cuse my body hurts so bad I can't move so I'm on methadone to be able to function from all the pain injuries addiction they caused me

  20. This show was absolutely mind blowing. My addiction problems began shortly after my younger sister passed away December 6th 1997. I had hurt my back pretty bad, and the doctor told me the same thing; this is a fairly new drug on the market. The good thing about it, is it is very good for pain, and less than 1% get addicted. It took me almost 17 years to get my life together. I now have seven years clean time. This drug paved the way to this Fentanyl Nightmare we are living today. It seems like a couple times a month. I hear yet, another friend died. In the show they made it seem like it was the only opioid available. Not so; MS Contin, Hydromorephone, Demerol, Vicodin, Percocet and Darvocet. They just pushed very very hard to get people to take this particular drug. I am very proud of the person I am today. This show was very very shocking. Especially after living it. That just shows you, these companies donā€™t care about you. They care about profits and nothing but.

  23. Lived this: just want to say I enjoyed it but it was REALLY weird that they decided to only show Democrats railing against the Sacklers at the end, and not both Democrats and Republicans (which is what actually happened)

  24. Great production and largely great acting, not surprising (what a story) but the script blows big time. ā€œLook at all these white peopleā€ – what if the coloured lady saying that said ā€œJewsā€ instead of ā€œwhiteā€? They were by the way. Not very nice eh?
