  8. I just saw this – solid!
    The director did a spectacular job with the little that he had. Great cast; good storyline and real fight scenes, none of that shaky crap that they do in those big budget rubbish. Nice one MJW! 💪🏽

  12. This movie is a dream. So bad that there's nothing left but pure entertainment. Mind you, at the lowest level, enriched with too many cringe moments – but below average: relatively mediocre if you just want to see something irrelevant in a beautiful island paradise. Unfortunately, nature is relatively neglected, even though filming was almost always done outdoors.

    Acting: 2 out of 10 (with 1 being terrible and 10 being brilliant)
    Story/script/plot: 1 out of 10 – it couldn't be more one-dimensional
    Realism: 1 out of 10 – could easily be a science fiction movie
    Entertainment: 4 out of 10 – The mixture of cringe moments, exaggerated nonsense paired with predictable plot levels and then every now and then somewhat entertaining action scenes, which seem relatively amateurlike even compared to B movies, all of this together makes the film worth seeing , somehow. The martial arts scenes are certainly the best thing this movie offers.

    I would give this C-movie a 3.4 out of a possible 10 points. Is okay. Nothing you'll want to watch a second time. If you really have nothing to do and if you want to relax to shallow entertainment, you can think about it.

  21. Never seen so many off the mark comments about what can only be desribed as a straight to video piece of junk MJW can't act to save himself and without the cuban cigar smoking Don it's the biggest non event since Moby Dick met Winnie The Pooh

  32. It's a pity he has to deal with film makers who seem clueless about realism.. EVERYTHING is done with some bizarre need to try to look 'slick' or 'cool' and that ruins everything… Even the way he's doing kicks… The way ppl are dressed, the way they talk, the way they carry themselves… even the sets and stuff…scenes.. .it's all so CONTRIVED and forced!…
    UGH!!! If it wasn't for this embarrassing, cringey element, i would watch it, coz i like Michael.

  36. MJW and Scott Adkins man… they deserve so much more. Like in a big budget Mission Impossible, james bond type movie. They one of the few still keeping these action movies alive we grew up with in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
