11. I just finished s1 and tried s2 but couldn't. this looks closer to s4, but why s1 was soo good was because of Rusts personality and dialogue, the dynamic between his partner and very deep philosophical themes about life. I'm afraid this season wont supply it….

20. I really don't see the issues people are having with this season.

    I thought season 4 tapped into the supernatural themes of the first season very well.

    Both leads were phenomenal. The "strong female woke" trope didn't feel forced. It felt natural.

    I'm one of the first to call out woke garbage when I see it, but I think this did it right. I didn't feel I was being preached to. I was entertained start to finish.

25. true detective fall off needs to be studied. i cant believe we went from masterpiece of a season one to this. i guess thats the problem of anthology, it's difficult to be consistent. i really hope that true detective is as consistent as fargo

29. This season was fair at best. The biggest surprise for me was that I didn't think Jodi Foster's performance was that great. I think she's such a good actress but this was a miss for me, personally.

    La plus mauvaise saison, une intrigue qu'on a du mal à suivre et des dialogues d'une platitude absolue contrairement aux autres saisons.
    Les acteurs sont desservis par le texte et la mise en scène.
    Reste les lieux de tournage.
    Dommage, vraiment dommage
    Ai décroché au 3ème épisode mais j'ai quand même regardé jusqu'à la fin en espérant changer d'avis. Raté.
    En revanche, je suis en train de revoir la 2ème, et je découvre qu'elle n'a pas eu le succès qu'elle méritait

41. i will agree that Jodie F. is great but this is least favourite season. quirky people, smells of Fargo and becoming more of a s-f thriller than true crime story. with previous seasons soon as i finished watching one episode i wanted to see more. but its not the case with the season 4.

42. I tried it I really did. Then in episode 3 after 10 min or sth. I quit. Cant watch this shit. Its about everything but mostly not about cracking the case which itself is too far fetched anyway. And people say season 3 was bad. It was FAR better than this. At least it had a proper murder story.
