This was phenomenal. I watched the Sean Bean season today after work. My dad does chaplaincy in a corrections facility. A lot of the circumstances hit hard and feels like it was made with a lot of integrity.
Currently in the Prison Service, this opening is very accurate. Season one I would say was somewhat accurate to prison life in the male estate…a few inaccuracies and liberties taken. Season 2 was even more inaccurate…

Avarage high school locker room experience
ive been in and out of Englands worst jails for 25 years and this is the most accurate portrayal of jail ive seen put to screen. They literally got everything right down to the tiniest details. Everything that happens in this show ive seen happen in real life. Im totally amazed how they got it so right. This should be shown in schools so kids know what it will be like. This would be a wake up call. Well done BBC. Five Stars.
