29. Back in the late 80s, I subscribed to Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. One of the stories was similar to this movie. At the end, he just keeps rubbing the ring over and over.

30. This movie is based on a short story called "Lucifer!" by E.C. Tubb. Most of the stuff from the "Futurama" episode comes from this story.
