  1. Just saw it so you don't have to. Don't waste your time and money. The ending fell flat on its face. "The killer gets caught and arrested at the end"? Really? More mass appeal, good-guy-wins-bad-guy-loses feel-good by-the-numbers saccharine-sweet crap? Incredibly disappointing from M. Night Shyamalan. For a director renowned for his clever twist endings, he didn't exactly bring his A-game here. I could easily write at least two different endings that would have played far better: one where the Butcher is part of the "supers" introduced in Glass (e.g. his psychopathy is a hidden psychological superpower perfectly adapted for predating on modern man), and one where his story is separate from that timeline. Either way, M. Night Shyamalan got paid far too much to churn out a morality tale doing its best to pose as a thriller.

  2. Twist is the killed 'victims' are one of the butcher subordinates, his traps were double edged sword because these killers intended to stay at vulnerable spot for traps since that area is hard to catch the potential suspects or these killers had a plan to set a trap on their own that frames as hes the one who made it, and he was identified already and only the higher officer who knows was the real culprit and hes also inside the stadium to bait himself as 'the butcher' so he lures him to those areas to set him up for the lulz at the same time being a spy for the police. If he wasnt defending himself and his daughter, they will be both killed or when failed is he would get caught from the police because of the traps made from the killers and if he plans to set up against them is it would backfire because of many people who are unaware of the trap which intended for the killers plus he would still be framed which is the 'mastermind' plan at the start made from that high ranked police. Sry for my butchered english.

  3. I think he said this was something he hasn’t done before. And the title says a NEW experience so I’m thinking there is no twist, it’s an intense suspenseful cat and mouse game. It’ll be good because Hartnett’s in it. 😊

  4. Typical, M Night's movies all have twists. Showing the "twist" in the trailer? I don't think he will make it that easy. Something is going to happen which is going to blow the audiences minds. Well I hope that happens. If not, then it's just lazy writing. BUT I HIGHLY doubt that's the case

  5. The twist is JH is a vigilante who though he imprisoned the killer who was actually a witness who thinks he can ID the daughter as the killer, and police knows all these because recently hospital discharged Ivy Walker sees all their colors and is helping the police. the real killer is M.Night in a 15sec cameo.

  6. The twist is…Bruce Willis saves the day as Unbreakable guided by Haley Joel Osment from Sixth Sense, who speaks to the victims.

Post credit scene – Bruce and Joel go to an old farmhouse and recruit Mel Gibson to their team.
