  4. Yall are actually tripping and delusional. Forget about the books for a minute, Ciri was named a witcher in the 3rd critically acclaimed game in her own character bio. She has the cat like eyes, she under went the mutations, she is for all intents and purposes a witcher. I dont want to hear no "She cant be" because she is, clear as day. Not to mention she is clearly the protagonist and the game is called "The Witcher 4" Get over it please its exhausting to see grown ass men act like this. If you genuinely are upset because it breaks lore all because a woman cant be a witcher you are disgusting because it doesnt hurt anyone for Ciri to be a witcher. Cope however you need say that shes only half a witcher, say its because of her elder blood, say whatever just understand she IS a witcher and for this game she is THE Witcher.

  5. Don’t mislead people. It is not coming out in 2026. More like 2028-2029 at the earliest. It has only just gone into full production and has only been worked on for months not years at this stage.

    The unannounced GPU only refers to the cinematic trailer not the game itself.

  9. Maybe she's called a witcher but really isn't (cause she has her own powers) but due to her manner of training everyone just calls her one? Maybe she can withstand the potions due to her elven blood?

  16. I hope CDPR stays true to its legacy and preserves the franchise's integrity. Regardless, I’ll always enjoy replaying the first three titles. Criticizing Ciri’s appearance feels premature—she’s not a Witcher, so natural aging applies, and this is just a reveal trailer. Let’s reserve judgment until we see gameplay and story details. CDPR has consistently delivered masterpieces, and despite Cyberpunk 2077's rocky launch, they redeemed it, maintaining a loyal player base.
    In short: My early opinion is "This looks awesome. She looks badass and hot. Can't wait to see more"

  17. People who are mad that they’re using Ciri as the main protagonist a.k.a “fEmAlE LeAd”, either don’t know anything about the Witcher saga, or they are so brain rotted with their “political side” that they can’t see logic.

    Ciri has always been the secondary main protagonist of the Witcher Saga, next to Geralt. The Witcher 4 is the sequel to the Witcher 3. At the end of 3, Geralt retires, and seeing that one of the main plot points of Ciri’s backstory is that she wanted to become a Witcher, and has trained as one since she was a little girl, how does it not make sense to then use Ciri as the main protagonist for the sequel to the game where Geralt retires at the end?

    The people who are upset with his trailer are the same people who say “keep politics out of gaming“, yet their own politics has rotted their brains to the point where they can’t see logic.

  19. I don't think a Witcher with an exclusively female main character will work. I hope you can chose between a male and female character in this game. Also, this Ciri is apparently weaker than the Ciri from The Witcher 3.. which is odd.
