Following multiple court cases and convictions of some of those involved in the theft and handling of the Brink’s-Mat gold, the police realised that they had only ever been on the trail of half of the Brink’s-Mat gold. Series two is inspired by some of the theories around what happened to the other half. As the police investigation continues, it becomes a tense, high-stakes journey into international money laundering and organised crime. The Brink’s-Mat Task Force embark on a series of dramatic manhunts as they desperately try to solve the longest and most expensive investigation in the history of the Metropolitan Police.

Yet another classic BBC drama. Series 2, excellent acting and a must to watch. Well done to everyone involved in series 2.
If anyone thinks this series is ‘any good’ then you obviously know absolutely nothing about the real story. I know tv shows have to ‘embellish’ the truth a little bit to make things exciting, but most of what was added to this series simply didn’t happen. It’s the biggest pile of rubbish I’ve seen in a long time. Showing Noye running around a forest as the police caught him??? That didn’t happen for a start. Totally made up.

Looks like low budget tosh to me. Overpowering backgrounds music, airport scene looks very unreal.
Watched three episodes, not as good as the first series. Poor casting and some annoying characters, still worth watching.
I am absolutely incredulous that the actor playing the gangland 'go between / fixer' in S1, is now cast in a completely different role. Made S2 impossible to take seriously for me. Stupid decision.
