Adapted from the beloved literary classic, THE CALL OF THE WILD vividly brings to the screen the story of Buck, a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life is turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon during the Gold Rush of the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail delivery dog sled team–and later its leader–Buck experiences the adventure of a lifetime, ultimately finding his true place in the world and becoming his own master.

As a live-action/animation hybrid, THE CALL OF THE WILD employs cutting edge visual effects and animation technology in order to render the animals in the film as fully photorealistic–and emotionally authentic–characters.

  1. For anyone who is wondering, I emailed the guy covering this song (Imaginary Future) and apparently he is not allowed to release it because it's owned by Disney. Maybe some of you can tweet Disney or something and tell them we'll pay for this song!

  2. Is This Land is Your Land public domain now? I have read something about it's complex copyright history, and the people behind Good Morning to You Productions vs. Warner/Chappel Music were working on it. Heck if you could free one song from Woody Guthrie's songbook why not all of them? Especially the ones about killing fascists. 😏

Surely it's no surprise this cover is in a trailer for a Disney movie, and we all know that Mickey Mouse is on IP life support. If they can simply remove Fox from 20th Century, I guess they'll rewrite history with Woody Guthrie playing nice to fascists by another name, China.
