why does this look so bad
I’d gladly place this one alongside the 1994 original in the movie’s timeline 😊
Taka: Wonderful, another we’re not supposed to eat.
Me: I don’t know about the rest of you but I speculate that this is where Taka/Scar’s evilness slowly comes in cause in the 2019 Lion King movie when Scar formed an alliance with the hyenas he said and I quote “Mufasa has always shown too much restraint when it comes to hunting. When I am king, the mighty will be free to take whatever they want.”
Digital images look great . Visually impressive.
As for story? Maybe it's aimed for youngsters ?

Personal opinion.. Pride Rock is Mufasas actual home where he was lost from. Once he and scar left to be on their own he started to discover history. So in reality he is still rightfully the king.

I don’t believe this to be canon to the 1994 Lion King,but the live action Lion King and I believe the live action Lion kings movies are alternate universe and only believe is canon to the 1994 Lion King is Lion King 2:Simba’s Pride,Lion King 1 1/2,and Lion guard.
Also not going see the Mufasa because wasn’t Huge fan of live action Lion King and my opinion Lion King it the worst Disney live action of all time and the trailers I saw I don’t like what they doing Lion King like make Mufasa a orphan and Scar the rightful king make no sense.
