Get them before they get you. 22 strangers, one castle, £120k – Claudia Winkleman hosts the ultimate reality game of trust and treachery. Let the mind games begin.

Claudia Winkleman greets 22 strangers as they arrive at a beautiful castle in the Scottish Highlands to play the ultimate reality game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning up to £120,000.

And it’s not long before the players are questioning everything, and everyone, as Claudia secretly assigns three traitors. It is up to the traitors, under the cover of darkness, to pick off their fellow players one by one, murdering them from the game.

The rest of the players, the faithful, must try to work out who the traitors are and banish them from the game before they become their next victim.

The lucky ones who survive to the end will have a chance to win that life-changing cash. But if a traitor remains undetected, they will take all the money.

  2. I am up to Episode 5 and find John by far the most obnoxious character

    (SPOILER)

    He is hyper sensitive and gets easily offended by even innocent conversations (ie the way he reacted with Arron asking him about massage therapy) but then had the brass neck to yell at Arron that it is 'only a f*****g game show'

    John personifies the stereotype of a bitchy gay man.

    He can dish out abuse but loves to play the victim.

    And in the 'real world' it was reported that he was charged with assaulting two waiters in Edinburgh in a drunken rage.

    I see the others as mostly just playing the game but John stands out to me as a toxic person.

    The young magician – Tom I think – is arrogant though – he keeps talking about how great he is at working people out as it is part of his job but then gets it dead wrong several times.

  3. I like the show but I thought this was a bit shitty and unnecessary.

    They didn't even get a chance unless you count Winkleman's question.

    I mean they should have been at least allowed to participate in something more than that.

    I hope the BBC at least paid their travel expenses!

  6. I'm watching season 1 episode 7 where they're pushing the heavy barrels up the hill. First the fat guy was pushing a wheelbarrow that might have had a small in it. Then you see him just walking along beside it while the 72 year old woman was pushing big ones as hard as she could. He seems to be perfectly comfortable with the fact that he's not helping the others with the big barrels. I think he should be embarrassed or at least pretend he was pushing something. He's standing there like a cheerleader come on guys. Doing nothing to help. It's kind of disgusting to watch him. What was funny in the diary room he's talking about everybody pushed. You do see him when they get to the finish line pretending to be pushing LOL at the finish line he's the only one that's not dirty

I really wasn’t going to bother with this show, I don’t watch “reality” shows, but it popped itself on iplayer after I finished something else and I was about to turn it off when it got to this bit and that was me sold, totally hooked. I watched the whole series in a day, the following day I watched the US version and I’ve just finished the Australian version. 3 full series in less than a week 😂😂😂.

  19. enjoyed keiron being slung out he was a cocky bighead, so glad he didnt get any money. Wilf played better than him and he threw his toys out when he couldn’t lose with dignity
