Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer | Official Trailer | Netflix

Young women who worked in the sex industry were disappearing from New York City and Long Island, and no one was looking for them. Then in 2010, female remains were found in the Gilgo Beach area of Long Island, leading to a string of additional discoveries, all of which seemed to be connected. The case of the Long Island Serial Killer remained unsolved for 13 years — until July 2023 when the police arrested a suspect. From Academy Award®-nominated and Emmy-winning director Liz Garbus (Lost Girls) comes the definitive look at the twists and turns in a case that dominated headlines and is still developing in real time.

  1. He was so easy to locate. I said he’d be local, have a good job, tech savvy, black truck like vehicle, white, tall, ok looking but not too good looking, I don’t know why it took them so long. It was a repeated dumping ground just stake it out. Couldn’t find their arseholes with both hands.

  2. Born and raised on Long Island my entire life I felt a bit bad I’ve never even heard of Gilgo Beach. When this asshole was revealed I was like wow

  3. I will never stop saying it. I don’t trust nobody with my kids. As a mother myself your suppose to protect your kids and know who your kids talk to and hangout with. I know all my daughters friends and who she talks too. I have always told my daughter never talk to strangers I don’t care how nice they are.

  4. I remember the girl shannon mention and her momma looking for her. They were on a show about sisters on Investigation Discovery, and I hate to say the mom was looking for her passed away

  5. I wonder how this differs from the original documentary done years ago, besides the update that they finally catched the killer.
