  2. Funny how people rate films so differently. This one started well; had me intrigued and I liked the mysterious "dreams", but my interest waned pretty quickly because of the dialogue (or I should say the lack of it at times) and the acting by some, and the slowness and vagueness of certain scenes. The twist was okay I guess, but I couldn't help losing interest.

  3. I fell asleep and had the WORST nightmare I ever had: this movie was STILL going on!
    When you watch a good horror movie, it looks like it's easy to make it scary. This pointless dribble proves that that's not true. Keep on crying Sara, like in every boring scene in this boring movie!

  13. Why aren't more people talking about this movie? I heard about it from Rue Morgue magazine and was waiting for its release. It blew me away! Its been weeks since I have watched it and it has stayed with me.

    I live in the city where it was filmed and did not realize this until I started noticing buildings at the University I attended. Definitely added to the dream like quality of the movie for me!

    The pace of the movie is not as slow as people are making it out to be. Watch this movie!!!

  17. I have no doubt the director edited and scored this trailer. It masterfully hides those nightmare sequences, and it keeps that zooming-in motif for the title reveal at the end.

  22. SIDE NOTE: For the love of god- can Youtube please fix/update its video compression. This trailer, along with everything else on YouTube, looks like it was culled from a video codec from the early 2000s. It's so disappointing for everyone involved to watch work that was labored over, only to be given a tease of with vastly inferior video compression. It's just sad….. That said, I love the score and the vibe of this film.

  24. [no spoilers] This is how you do trailers, show as little as possible while maintain the pace, also as someone who think vast majority of movies are overrated and time waste, this one however has a special place and deserves 10/10, it truly is one of the best movies I have ever watched.

  29. Total turd of a film. It's as if the director took what makes 80's movies like 'Near Dark' great and flushed it down the toilet and kept the empty shell to make his own film. No, you shouldn't have extremely dramatic music in every single scene. No, having one facial expression for the whole film does not help character development (there were no characters in this film). No, the lack of coherent storytelling doesn't make the film better, it makes it boring nonsense. 2 out of 10 for me.

  30. This has to do with sleep paralysis just so u know.. One thing i dont fk with like go down the rabbit hole with.. they say just thinking about it you could experience sleep paralysis.. (Sleep paralysis is a feeling of being conscious but unable to move.) How do they know its just a feeling not something more, if im not wrong people are mainly all seeing the same thing. fk that!

  37. im not easily pleased at all but i can honestly say i cant remember the last movie i watched that came anywhere near this. unadulterated genius and ms stone delivered a STUNNING performance. wow. just wow!

  42. Great flick,sound track and both lead and supporting roles are great,we'll written and amazing ending with electric youth taking an Oscar for tunes .I'm 58 n Love this movie and score.
