  1. Omg, Netflix and Documentaries are like oil and water. This is visual diarrhea. It is the worst example of gadgety visual dogshit anyone has ever smeared on screen. I think it gave me eye cancer.

  2. It's so sad. We got so lucky to have the Earth as our home planet, and all we've been doing is speedrunning its ruin. I hope I'm long gone before it becomes too toxic to support life.

  3. And here I am with a half empty room and sleeping on the floor, and people telling me to get more furniture because it looks empty.
Or replacing a TV, gaming console, PC, books and more with just an iPad. Only 4 pairs of shoes and 7-ish sets of clothing

  4. So funny when the Ghana black chick designer tells us JUST STOP there's too much clothing in the world . Eh your a creator and distributor of these clothes designer hypocrite 😂😂😂

  5. Ok so I just finished Buy Now. Its a horrible documentary, incredibly annoying visuals & a "song" at the end…ugh. This is one of the most important topics of our current world & the filmmakers absolutely failed to cover it as such.

  6. Great documentary. Should show it for free in schools, especially college business classes. I see my nephews loving thrift stores now and really getting away from material things. I hope it's a wave for the future. The waste our society has created is deplorable.

  8. Companies do not produce products with the intent people never buying them and sending them off to a landfill. That's absurd. They make products they believe people want and need. Producing waste is not profitable unless you own the landfill. Get a brain people. That video is a scam.

  9. ““Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. “Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.”

  10. Once i got to 18 and got my own adult money that i could spend on whatever i wanted i went ham i brought everything in huge amounts and if something didnt work i immediately brought another one with amazon prime which delivered it to me the next day or in some cases the same day. Then at the end of 2024 i decided to check how much i spent in they year and my jaw dropped it was astonishing as someone who lives with their parents doesnt have bills to pay i was shook. Thats when i decided i need to stop and this docu has definetley encouraged me.

  11. Good documentary but ruined it for me by this cringey Sasha thing and extensive use of AI-ish narrative and imagery. However, the Sasha thing takes the cake, downright annoying, unnecessary and stupid.

  12. Imagine our own government doing the same damn things and then people crying to the government to solve it. People our world and system are completely corrupt. No one has your best interest in mind except yourself.

  13. Oh yes, a very important message about consuming and the environment… Let's fill it with AI that will mess up even MORE with the environment! You guys lost me fr dumb ass people

  14. Most shown in this are like corn stars who after making their fortune become pastors and expect everyone to think that they are the good ones. 😂

  15. I litterly have 1 jeans. 2 sport pants. 1 normal shoe. 1 sport shoe. And like 5 basic cotton shirts. And 2 sweaters. 1 jacket. I repair EVERYTHING myself electronics, cars. Clothes.

If i can't eat it. If i can't drink it. If I can't sleep under it. Then 99% of the times that my addicted personality wants to buy something i don't need it.. Sad 99.50% of the other people on this earth don’t think like that at all. Its extremely depressing i fear for my little girls future. So much that i probably don't even want her to make grandbabys in the future. Because they basically going to be completely screwed.. consume consume consume.. its not going to stop its going to get worse.

  16. All true, great documentary. We are ruining the planet with our insane addiction to buy. We work hard and get in debt to buy and buy and buy. Eventually this unsustainable system will collapse, or people will get sicker and sicker by living in very polluted environment.
