  1. Okay guys! The movie was fantastic. The directors and producers did a great job of making it, firstly, as a wonderful Christmas movie. Secondly, a stand alone in that you do feel the connection to the ‘Home Alone’ franchise, like 1,2 and 3 but you do feel a sense of originality in its storyline and perspective.
It’s what Home Alone 3 should have been, basically. Because Home Alone 3 felt like an ordinary movie that happened to be at Christmas time, which removed the heart from the film. This one, has heart, it has a story to tell and the characterization is not forced or weird but it has motivation that carries the story forward.
My favorite scene would be the ‘O Holy Night’ scene because of how well they used the music to dramatize the actions of the actors. I must say, the placement of the music in this movie was a job well done because it felt like they placed it with care and purpose. The music helped with the progression of the storyline!
1&2 is legendary but it’s such a nostalgic experience but fresh in its own way and told in a different perspective sort of, that it makes you want to look at 1&2 all over again and follow with Home Sweet Home Alone as if it’s part 3 to the movie franchise.
I don’t get the feeling that the directors wanted to out do the first two parts. I get the feeling that they wanted to make it a successful addition to the ‘Home Alone’ franchise and create a nostalgic Christmas movie that gives ode to the oldies and goodies. It does well a stand-alone Christmas movie and it fits well in the ‘Home Alone’ franchise. So imma be viewing this one as part 3 because I’ll be watching again!

    My ranking:
    #1 Home Alone 1&2⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️
#2 Home sweet Home Alone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
    #3 Home Alone 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️and 1/2
    #4 Home Alone 3⭐️⭐️⭐️
#5 Home Alone 5 (This movie was just terrible)
