This creepy version of the 'Banana Boat (Day-O) song, the funeral scene with Catherine O'Hara & Winona Ryder and the model set scene at the end of the trailer have already given me goosebumps. It takes me straight back to the original story of 1988 and all the memory that goes with it !

The Banana Boat song seems like a pretty weird song to sing at a funeral since it's such a cheerful song and there's nothing cheerful about a funeral.
Another Hollywood non-original movie because, you know, all the good movies have been made, so all we can do is recycle 35 year old ideas…much less effort involved…
