I thought this movie was going to be so much better than it was. My favorite part of it was the beginning with Skarsgaard and the main girl, maybe the first 30 mins in the house. Started off so mysterious and eerie, then as soon as you find out what’s going on in the basement it gets ridiculous and all over the place. Very overhyped movie IMO.

Bill was the best part of this movie, his acting was so great I thought he was a real person…which I guess is the point.
The awkwardness seems kind of easily resolvable. Either you just pack up and go somewhere else. Ideally your car is safer than this situation.
Or, as a normal person, you can send pictures of each other with information to your trusted family/friends.
OR ding ding ding. Have an officer come out for a wellness check and let them know you'll both be staying there, provide ID, and that you would like a wellness check performed every few hours until morning.

They're hyping up this movie so much, there's no way it'll live up to it. The comments i've seen on the trailer are talking about how this is the best horror movie in years. Really? Man, I really wanna believe that. I haven't been impressed by a horror movie in so long, i basically quit the genre. There needs to be an oscars awards for trailers because it feels like every month there's a sick trailer that gets everyone hype only for the movie to flop.
