Season 2 will see the characters and their relationships intensify as the horizon of war draws near and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested and, as the stakes rise, the betrayals, sacrifices and conflicting agendas will become profound.

Rife with political intrigue, danger, tension, and high stakes, the series is a prequel to “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which portrayed a heroic band of rebels who steal the plans to the Empire’s weapon of mass destruction: The Death Star, setting the stage for the events of the original 1977 film. “Andor” sets the clock back five years from the events of “Rogue One” to tell the story of the film’s hero, Cassian Andor, and his transformation from disinterested, cynical nobody into a rebel hero on his way to an epic destiny.

  1. What irony that the only good Star Wars project these days is the one where Jedis do not matter at all .

    Daring to give a social reflecting here:
    – Maybe the classic "warrior" clishe is dying out in this generation or the writers dont know how to write it down.
    – Being a nobody or similar is something a lot can more relate to .
    – Hes a man and not gay or near anybody who could possibly be gay (lesbian dont count).
    – He looks a bit like Antonio Banderas ,who knows.

    I liked the series and the chapter with the prison and all ,but oh boy, Rogue One movie was very slow at first and I fell asleep 2 times…
    ….rest was ok . Still like the porn parody more :>
    …better dialogue.

    P.S: Andor is in a really good path to make this story more promising than past SW projects because it doesnt dive in to deep in other archetypes/legacies to ruin it but enough to make it believable that it's happening in that distopian sci fi world. I seriously think the only way to make a new Jedi movie/series interesting, is to turn it up-side down because we have seen too much and a switch like Terminator I & II or changing tone from Alien 1 to Aliens (the more the better) is somethign they could try out .

  6. My faith in anymore Disney made Star Wars shows is at an all time low after Acolyte. Just stop it Disney… instead dig into the lore, give me a film filled with huge amounts of Jedi going to war against the Sith, lightsabers all over the place, give me an actual baddie like Darth Revan, make the whole thing look like a multi million dollar production of them old Republic video game trailers (they were epic)… stop messing around, you paid billions for the franchise now damn well use it!!

  8. I really dont get the love for this show. and before the hate…I am a HUGE Star Wars fan….and Rogue One is my fav SW movie since Empire….but my GOD this show was like walking through molasses. I will watch this season but I am really not expecting to love it. I really loved Skeleton Crew though….it was like Goonies and made me feel excited again to watch each episode.
