They've already done this somewhat with the abominations that are AvP1/2, better than Romulus though, that movie was just plain @$$.
Spoiler Alert – the Xenomorphs are all LGBTQad infinitum, they are now pink and identity as human wahmen.
Let's hope it's better than the tiktok crew on the Romulus, that movie was so so bad, not even 'so bad it's good' just an expensive fan fic amateur hour all around and stop with the fan service, we love Alien, Aliens and even Alien 3 DC, 1991, the last half decent Alien movie, 1986 since last truly great one.

Poor Ripley. This new show proves that all her efforts to keep the Aliens off Earth were all pointless.
In all seriousness, I have really mixed feelings about this. I know the AVP films did this premise too, but they weren't exactly beloved classics and, AFAIK, are considered their own continuity. This is straight up part of the OG Alien series.
