A Year and Change – After falling off the roof at a New Year’s Eve house party, Owen decides that it’s time to make some wholesale changes in his life. Over the next year, he quits drinking, re-enters his estranged son’s life, reignites old friendships, and falls in love with Vera, a bank teller and fellow divorcee…all in an attempt to replace members of his family who he’d lost prematurely. Owen, a vending machine proprietor, soon finds that sometimes in life, you just need a little change.

  5. Failed to understand why this is classified as a comedy.
    There were tears but not out of laughter.
    Painfully to watch.
    Too much like a tragedy.
    Yes it was well done and realistic.
    I stayed from start to finish.
    Now off to find a comedy.

  11. I've never seen anything Bryan Greenberg was in that I didn't like. Also nice to watch a movie that's closer to reality. 2nd time I watched it and it's still fresh.

  17. Beautiful story and acting. Takes a little patience but well worth it! Good that life unfolded this way for Owen, Vera and Adam. Sometimes second chances never happen.

  19. Two minutes into this movie and I clicked out of there.I jumped to the comments to see if it was worth watching.First couple reviews were quite good,so I may give it a second chance.The hairdresser at the beginning killed it for me.I hope she is not the lead female in the movie.
