  1. My short review: I love the Avengers movies for their performance, screeplay & dialogue. Anthony Mackey gave a solid acting & action in this movie. I welcome him as the new Captain. Always a fan of Harrison Ford, but perhaps it would be good if he could make Ross' character into his own. It doesn't have to be precise as William Hurt's portrayal. The visuals & effects are very good. The plot of the script, though, felt similar to an older Avengers movie: The Civil War. It also lacks on the spot humors the older movies had. So if Marvel can continue to dedicate making original fresh storylines / scripts in their new movies, with good humor (not just wanting to cash in on the brand), this new Capt America movie can be much more elevated and iconic. 🙏🙏

Harrison Ford is the one guy who swings the best looking punch in hollywood …. seriously, I don't think there is another actor who can swing a punch as beautifully with such force and dynamism as him does in every action movie he's in …

  3. Harrison Ford calling Anthony Mackie the big star in the movie is like the complete opposite of the forced hate on Sam Wilson and the movie.

Why can’t people be more like Harrison Ford?

  4. It might have SOME getting up to pace with the falcon soldier show but the little references it has IS PLENTY ENOUGH FOR casual fans! You dont ACTUALLY have to watch the show to actually love the movie just get into it with a different outcome from russos directing the four films i said!

  5. People saying this is boring cause its mastering the pacing of Cap 2 and 3 and the vibe and violence of those films and the two russo avengers films ! Its not boring it just is done in a different way than the russos who mastered the drama pace of 2 and 3 and avengers 3 and 4!!!

  6. If they aren't BOTH nominated for the following Oscars…… for the movie…….. wow! Harrison is among his best performances here even though he always gives perfect performances!

  7. Easily one of the better movies of recent MCU post endgame. Not at the top, but largely better (and more serious) than Thor Love and Thunder, Antman Quantumania, Dr Strange 2 MoM, and The Marvels (which in itself, was also a lot of fun). And certainly not at the bottom of the list like all the critics are making it sound like.
Both actors did a marvellous job at juggling with the jumbled script (jumbled by real life events, like the strikes, then the attempt on Trump, then the Palestinian crisis), acting their respective roles to a tee, and it's exactly what Harrisson is talking about : We saw actual human people inthis movie, both overwhelmed by the amount of sh*t that was happening around them, but still fighting through it to get it done. And done well they did, considering the amount of troubles this production had to go through. Even though you can tell the movie has been reworked countless times, despites its flaws, it still holds up remarquably well and manages to keep itself together much better than many other movies would have in similar circumstances.
    So kudos to them all.

Also, yeah, this format of the main stars just having an actual conversation instead of being interviewed with question that have been asked hundreds of times is actually awesome ! We can learn so much from their experience just listening to their chat (and banter).

  8. IMHO, this is a good movie that manages to merge 2 narratives – the sam Wilson story and Thaddeus Ross one. It really did a good job of doing so without making it look awkward. And at the same time manages to subtly expand the universe to significant directions. It's not the best, but I would put it slightly above average. Anthony Mackie isn't Chris Evans but he is the captain America for the MCU at this stage in time. He may not fair skinned, but his captain America has the same heart and spirit as Steve Rogers. Wish more people can see that. 😊

  9. A "ranDu"m thawt 🤔 💭…I like how they made his Cap version believable and grounded. But at moments his toughness reminded me of his Outside the Wire character. Which, imo, should get a sequel… 😒 hmm? 👍
