Tony Todd (Candyman franchise) and Vincent M. Ward (“The Walking Dead”) star in this horrific, bloody tale of revenge from beyond the grave. After serveral thrill-seeking teens go missing, Detective Bobbie Briggs investigates the lone survivor and her incredible tale of Devilreaux, an undead, shovel-wielding monster seeking revenge for murders committed long ago. Now, Briggs must visit the legend’s abandoned farmhouse to confront Devilreaux himself – and try to survive his vengeful, razor-sharp shovel.

  17. Shot in Netflix style, diverse, hyper clean costumes, only one person in the film can actually act, silly title, done before plot, unrelatable characters.

    When will Tony star in something good again as a main role?

  20. This movie had SUCH potential! I'm a huge fan of black culture diving into the horror genre bc they bring a new perspective and fresh characters to the table.

    However…

    This movie didnt do it for me.

    Acting is generic and the kill scenes dont make sense while being executed.

    I reeeealllyyy wanted to like this flick💔

  31. Do not waste your time on this movie. They make the trailer looks so good but I'm 15 minutes into the movie and I've never seen such bad acting in my whole life there's no way in hell I can get through this movie it's that bad. 3 out of 10 thumbs down

  35. I apologize for being an asshole about someone's creative work, but I am just saying my piece.
    I was about to get excited about Tony Todd, but then I watched the trailer and realized that it sadly lacks originality or style. Stop me if you heard this one:
    – Bunch of teenage morons
    – A Ouija Board
    – Mythical dead man walking (ahem…Jason Voorhees et al)
    – Slasher born from a curse, the laziest form of horror
    – Obligatory bad white people (SO last year)

    If you wanna see a good black cast horror film with substance, check out SPELL (2020).

  46. Leonard was evil from the beginning. Sure he was saving the lady from whatever those men were planning to do to her, but did he really have to kill the INNOCENT white man who he SAW come in just before he did, who had just the misfortune of walking in on whatever the others were trying to do? He didn’t hear the man beginning to say ‘what in gods name are you people doing’ which means the poor guy had nothing to do with what was happening or was coming to join in, if he was looking at the others like they were crazy for doing what they were doing. Yet Leonard mowed him down in one hit even though he saw him just come in and must have heard what the guy was starting to say just before he hit him. The man might have even helped him save the lady.
