The Women King with uniforms…
Oh wow. Never seen so many bots in my life. Who you try to fool Netflix? lol
Could be a great parody, sadly it isn't or is it? lol
I am here for kerry Washington 🇳🇬🇳🇬 🙌👏
What Netflix is doing for Republicans, Republicans can't do for themselves
Screw diversity, and Netflix, this is so annoying
Wherever there is positive images of black people, you can always find negative white people.. lol never fails
We all had something to prove.
I loved this. Except that silly so called love affair between an African American and the Jewish person. It was unnecessary and distasteful. And as usual Tyler Perry always downgrading Blk men in his "industry films". I actually stopped watching his films because of his (I am paid to sell this agenda) kind of movies. But aside from that daft "love" story this was a good film. The African American men and women all gave a brilliant performance. As did the "racist" YT Americans..
I loved this movie! I left it near the end of my list of movies to watch because I also was unconvinced about a movie about delivering mail, as well as another war movie. But I also thought it was a good night for a don't quit story and it didn't disappoint. lt didn't lag for one moment. I loved the army leader and her speeches and have never seen any army leader portrayed in such an eloquent fashion in any film. It was a poignant, infuriatingly racist, but feel good story of strength and dignity.
I was also wondering about the only route for the truck and that there needed to be alternate routes also predetermined, before it came up as an issue. You always make a plan B, especially if it's important, lest you find yourself stuck.
Also in the plot, the location in Glasgow. I know from my parents' childhood the crucial port city was bombed to h*ll by the Germans, and the adults could name the planes and whether they were loaded or empty by sound. But it didn't occur to me it would look like but a small section of Gaza. The buildings had taped blackout curtains and you'd get paid a visit if any light was seen at night by the watchmen on the road. I think there was a curfew because even the light inside had to be extinguished. Food was sent from North America during years of rations and powdered staples where Glaswegians were on a permanent diet and a can of peaches was a prize.
I suppose in that light some criticism that the film was superficial could be valid. I'd like to know more of the mechanism by which the ladies solved their problems and built their structures. Did I see that correctly that during air raids they hunkered beside windows, even windows with sand bags on the outside, but still giant glass windows? The army racist complained about the salon but in an unheated building the ladies would have to dry their hair. If there wasn't a boiler they'd also need stove water for bathing. And if there was some kind of central flame that would be where some would choose to bunk. We only experienced the Hollywood montage version of any of that, hi ho hi ho and all problems they miraculously fixed. Just who had the trades experience and how did they get it? That would be worth knowing. Maybe there was an angle there with something else for the audience to learn.
I cannot stand the ignorance of some people and their comments.
Yall do realize that these women WANTED to fight in the war? THey fought to get overseas only to realize that they weren't fighting like everyone else because they were black and the higher ups didnt WANT them to do anything BUT mail. They gave them the task of delivering 17 MILLION pieces of mail in 6 months thinking they couldnt do it and they did it in under 90 days. Yall should be THANKFUL that they were given the opportunity because the higher ups thought that soldiers not getting mail from their FAMILLIES was important. Yall talking bad about women when it was the MALES who thought they soldiers didn't need communication from their families back home because they thought it was a waste of time. There were soldiers AND families making complaints about how they didnt recieve mail for over 2 YEARS. So if you guys think they did nothing then you should be ashamed of yourselves. And clearly their hardwork was recognized because they had WHITE soldiers saluting to them after they said they would NEVER salute to a black captain nor her platoon
This and Hidden figures ❤
How comes these apes get to spout racist stuff and when it’s the other way around there is nothing but complaints. So thin skinned these apes
evryone deserves their story told. Now its the most watch movie on Netflix…. Haters
Keep going Tyler Perry!!! Damn near ever film he puts out is a hit. I just watched this film and have to say it's pretty damn good. Now it could be that I'm female, or pregnant, but I found it hard not to shed a few tears in the process of watching this movie. Please keep up the amazing work Mr. Perry!!!!
USPS the movie
I am gonna keep saying what i always ask. Why would the African Americans fight in WW2 when their USA country hates them and the white military try so hard to sabotage their own army. Why why why? Why would you fight for a country that hates you. If it were me I would never risked my life for those low life officers
The emotions in this movie, great women❤❤❤
Always a hating white girl somewhere they are so miserable and jealous
oh here we go again……..

A film about sorting mail 200miles in the english countryside. How riveting 😅
Who are all you??? Speaking so negatively??!!! Can't you give credit??!!!!!
I especially liked the part where Oprah wandered back to her bunk and sang Plastic Jesus. Goosebumps.
Don't waste your time watching this pathetic ^#*(+_% "movie".
✖️ Fighting nazis (weak)
✅ Sorting mail (facing the iMpOsSiBlE)
Amazing film. And such a great portrayal into what actually happened which unfortunately was never published sooner!!!!! Always remember 🙏🏽 ❤
These ladies discovered where the mail came from is the next place that was hit in the war. Beautiful movie.
Stop playing candy crush and get me a sandwich
this movie's existence is disrespectful to the actual heroes who fought the war
man even the acting feels way to acty like I can tell they are acting who talks like this constantly in real life, I feel like this could be a black adder episode without the laugh track .
It was a great movie. Kerry Washington is amazing in this role.
Yet another Tyler Perry movie of black pride and how bad whites are.. can we all just be Americans and move forward for the future, maybe racism will drop then…but Hollywood and the government would hate that…
😅 yaaaaa I’m good thanks, what a joke! Not to the unit..good on you but to make it as corny and 2020 to 2024 as possible biden/Harris era…thank god for change coming next week…hopefully some good movies will come back as well
Amazing historical movie
This movie portrays the male white members of the army as cruel, racist psychologically abusive toward these black women who were also American soldiers serving their country, I refuse to believe this is an accurate representation of their relations and the film maker misrepresents the facts and it's Hollywood and not true history. And in response to the following shortsighted comment, they weren't allowed to risk their lives or they would have.
Deuteronomy 7:6
[6]For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
I heavily love this movie so much!!!! Love love love it! Go Kerri and women. Thanks T Perry!
This movie was literally good. Why is everyone hating lol
