  4. I’ve just finished watching this. It was the hardest TV drama I have watched in years. I was sobbing, really heartfelt sobbing. The best BBC drama in years. An absolute must watch. Brilliant. Well done all involved. ❤

  6. I watched all episodes of this beautiful and profoundly moving drama on BBC iPlayer and was in floods of tears. The best drama I have seen on TV so far this year and for me will probably be the best of 2024. If anyone can watch this and not shed at least a few years, then they must be dead inside. Whether you are gay or straight, an absolutely unmissable watch. Well done to all concerned.

  7. So let me get this straight. The boy was removed from his mother, who was in an abusive relationship but loved her child dearly, and given to a relapsing drug and alcohol addict who continually went off the rails with the merest challenges in life. He was jealous the boy liked his partner more than him. He unforgivably snapped at the boy when he was kicking the ball at him – that should have been game over given the boy’s history – and did nothing but exhibit immaturity, dangerous self-destructive behaviour and spiteful self-absorption throughout. I’m gay, and I wouldn’t give this man care of a chihuahua let alone a child. It’s ludicrous to think this man wouldn’t relapse down the line. Why not sink the resources into supporting Jake’s natural mother? Another example of the insidious privilege of identity over common sense humanity.

  8. you've got to watch this 3 episode series at least once. I am overwhelmed with emotions, with the concept of love, parenthood, and the wonderful portrayal of the five steps of grief! Loved it!

  13. Lost Boys and Fairies would make grate names for two dance crews from a queer dance company that could be called Neverland or something. 🤷😅

  16. So tired of bland and 'warm' stories when something is mainly gay related, it has become generic and saturated. It's very obvious that this show has females as the target audience.

  29. This trailer was great until the amateur logo at 0:22 and the monotonous lady voice that didn’t fit in with everything else.

    Is this a problem with siloing your teams? Where’s the uniform direction here?
