Stanley Tucci is one of the greats.
He suffers from the delusion of equal outcome. Yet the circumstances could never be commensurate, not in size or degree.
However, it is correct that everyone is a potential murderer. For many, life in prison is just one bad day away.
And they don't know it…yet.
We kill those we deem unredeemable, or who "deserve" death. So do individuals. The only difference is the means of causing demise.
We worship killing, and place value on it as a means of power. Those who kill without consequences are the most powerful. That is why no one person is allowed to have that power. The reason people kill is to achieve power and control over a situation – to avoid potential consequences, or to increase the power to avoid consequences in the future.
Humans kill each other all the time because killing removes the threat to power completely. And humans will choose this if the threat is seen as "too great", due to emotional disadvantage. Because the government is given the authority, individuals can come to believe that they, too, are entitled to that power, under particular circumstances.
Also, we don't have respect for anyone who isn't capable of causing harm. That is why power is so sought after.
He’s just brilliant.
I love this man! He is the ish!
