  1. That guy looks nothing like Bruce, who is a good looking guy, that actor is not. This comes off weird making a movie about a guy who is still alive, just like the Dylan movie.

I have a feeling this will be terrible.

  2. I think this movie is going to capture the creative process of his hit album "Nebraska". Personally, this album speaks to me in a form of vulnerability that it can't be described with simple English

  3. Looks hmmm…boring? Yes, boring. Sounds like Bruce, once again, wants to remind everyone that he had a rough childhood. I would feel sorry for him if he weren't a tool for the communist left.

  4. Back around 1984 I was in a Walmart trying to buy a GI Joe "Duke" action figure. I had the correct dollar amount but I didn't understand the concept of taxes. I think it was like $3.50 but the total was maybe $3.75. Something like that. Anyway, I was broken hearted. Then, a man in line behind me volunteered to pay for the figure. I was so happy!

Now, that man probably wasn't Bruce Springsteen. I can't remember. I was maybe 8 years old so my memories are sketchy. Maybe it wasn't Bruce…but I like to think that is was.

  5. No thanks. I mean, after "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" all these biopics look ridiculous. The same tired tropes over and over and over again. Plus, would it have killed them to cast someone that even REMOTELY LOOKS like Springsteen? I mean…ZERO resemblance. Zero.

  6. I loved this album. It was a shadow on the wall a hint of a greatness to come. The songs were not just crafted but sung like a medieval bard passing his songs to small villages and towns. Bruce was singing to himself, an audience of one, two three etc. I know people who found the album depressing as the subject matter was in their view very and too dark. But other song writers have written songs of equally dark subjects. They covered the darkness with some light Bruce doesn't He sits in a shadow and slowly the light finds him. But now those songs will be heard in the glory that they deserve. When I heard about the "electric" album, I always thought that Nebraska should always been a double. Acoustic and electric. Well now we have it

  7. I can't wait to see this. My dad went to high school with Bruce and played the keyboard in one of his first short-lived bands as a teenager (of course, he tells everyone he meets this claim to fame). The movie premieres close to my dad's birthday and I’m excited to take him to the theatre to see the film. It looks great.

  8. Love Bruce and love this actor! Trailer, not so much. Felt absolutely nothing while watching. As opposed to watching the Bob Dylan “Complete Unknown” trailer. Now that gave me chills and I’m a much bigger Bruce fan than Dylan.

  9. Can’t wait. What an impact on my senses and experiences and now memories from back in the day. How blessed were we to have lived the music of the 60s, 70s, 80s! Heck-the 40s and 50s too because of my parents.
