Honestly one of the best shows I've seen. It was so engaging all the time with 10/10 acting. Just a bit sad it was a mini series with limited episodes.

More than a few of the actors in this are considered planks of wood most times. Looks like Peter Berg really brought out the actor in them.
I am sure that this is worth watching but I couldn’t watch more than 10 mins of the first episode, way too much camera movement for me.

Why do some characters speak French? Is it to make us believe that the French pioneers were bad? We can see a similar thing in The Revenant whose script is by the same writer.
