10. Ok, so I just finished seeing this movie.. ALERT!! Spoilers!! It is a children's movie about well,children! Mean ones, nice ones, and evil other worldly ones! This is only very loosely based on Black Eyed Kids stories. But it is NOT the same. In this movie the BEKs are older and stay in a pack of 5 or 6 all the time asking "will you let us in?" The question being only a formality and NOT a request to enter your home or car or immediate vicinity where you happen to be. They ask the question, then they terrorize you, come in anyways, and BOP! YOU! on the head with a metal bar or SOCK! YOU! in the face with a good sucker punch! Lol! I would say this is a horror comedy or a Goosebumps styled kids movie. There are some BEK story like moments but you soon find out the only deaths are of those BEKs that get hurled rather easily into a portal they open to hurl kids into. Man I am a grown man and I can not just lift a full grown teen by the back of their hoodie and pants and toss them into a portal lol!! They hate light, even artificial LED phone lights and flashlights, and dog whistles too! And lastly, the old man that helps the human kids is an alien too.. With black eyes! Whatta ya know!? LOL!
